PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an inconvenience of locational shift of the operator in a factory whenever the type of automobile to be manufactured is changed, and an inconvenience of securement of an additional installation space whenever the type of automobile is increased, the inconveniences being caused due to arrangement of jigs for a plurality of types of automobiles, at separate locations on a floor. SOLUTION: There is provided a jig rotation switching apparatus 1 which is for use in a component part assembling step of installing component parts to panels of the automobile. The apparatus is comprised of component part bearing members 4 each having bearing dies 3 for bearing the panels, a plurality of pallets 5 for mounting thereon the respective component part bearing members 4 in a detachable manner, and a rotary portion 6 having a plurality of pallet mounting surfaces 60 for mounting the pallets 5 thereon, respectively.
