PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for subjecting chicken droppings to fermentation treatment in a short time. SOLUTION: The treatment method of chicken droppings comprises a process of mixing the fermented substances containing thermophilic bacteria and the chicken droppings and a process of fermenting the mixed chicken droppings by heating the obtained mixture. In the treatment method of chicken droppings, the fermentation is completed within 48 hr. Preferably, the fermented substances containing the thermophilic bacteria and the chicken droppings are mixed in the proportion of 5/1 to 1.5/1 in wt. ratio. It is more efficient that the chicken droppings subjected to the pretreatment such as the adjustment of pH to acidic side is mixed with the fermented substances. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
