PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaking out fishing rod readily recognizing looseness of a jointed part and preventing the damage by falling off of a rod tube in the jointed part. SOLUTION: The shaking out fishing rod 10 is equipped with a pressing part 22 obtained by forming a tip of a large-diameter rod tube forming the jointed part P of the shaking out fishing rod 10 adjacently to one of rear ends of a small-diameter rod tube and suppressing the movement of the other by pressing thereof when loosening is caused in the jointed part P. The pressing force of the pressing part 22 is as follows. The pressing part 22 adjacent to the jointed part P of the butt rod tube 12 to the middle rod tube 16d is smaller than that of the pressing part 22 adjacent to the jointed part P between the middle rod tubes 16a to 16d.
