METHOD FOR FABRICATING INK JET PRINT HEAD

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating an ink jet print head is provided to improve ink exhaust characteristic by forming an ink chamber at upper and lower portions of a nozzle plates, respectively. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle plate(114) is formed at an upper surface of a substrate(100). Then, a heater(108) is formed on an upper surface of the nozzle plate(114). An electrode(112) electrically coupled to the heater(108) is formed on the nozzle plate. Then, a nozzle(104) is formed by etching the nozzle plate. A conductive layer is formed on the substrate(100) in such a manner that the exposed substrate(100) and the heater(108) are covered with the conductive layer. An insulation layer is formed on the conductive layer. Then, the insulation layer is etched so as to form an ink exhaust port. Then, the conductive layer is etched so as to form a second ink chamber(128). After that, the substrate(100) is etched so as to form a first ink chamber(110). A manifold(102) is formed by etching a rear surface of the substrate(100).
