PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat device that can accurately detect an absolute distance even if a distance sensor having a different output voltage per individual is used, and that allows simple readjustment of a detected distance of a human body even at a site in accordance with a distance to a wall of a toilet in which the toilet seat device is installed. SOLUTION: The toilet seat device has an analog distance sensor 9 continuously converting a distance to an object in the forward direction of a toilet seat and outputting, a comparison means 10 comparing an output voltage of the distance sensor 9 with a specified voltage, and an nonvolatile storage means 11 storing the specified voltage. The specified voltage is stored in the nonvolatile storage means 11 by placing an object in a desired place for each toilet seat device 12 and operating an operating means 15 to store a voltage currently outputted from the distance sensor 9 in accordance with the characteristics of the distance sensor 9.
