The invention relates to a ventilation device for an electrical machine including a rotor ( 42 ) provided externally with reliefs ( 46 ) delimiting between them cooling channels ( 46 ) in which a cooling fluid circulates and a stator. The rotor is equipped with at least one axial fan ( 48 ) suitable for directing an airflow into the cooling channels. The invention can be applied to the ventilation device for a motor-vehicle alternator.
