WELDING BACKUP BAR

PURPOSE: A welding backup bar is provided to continuously and constantly supply argon gas into a bead part and to prevent argon gas from being leaked to an exterior when performing an arc welding work. CONSTITUTION: Argon gas exhausting holes(11) are formed in a pipe(10) at a predetermined interval. Argon gas is supplied into the pipe(10). The pipe(10) has a linear shape. A mesh-type distributor(20) made of metal is mounted on an upper portion of the pipe(10). Argon gas discharged from the argon gas exhausting holes(11) makes contact with the mesh-type distributor(20) so that argon gas is widely spread in a space formed in a protection cover(30). The protection cover(30) is positioned at a lower portion of the pipe(10) and includes a bottom surface(31) and a partition wall(32).
