A containers end is sealed by a lid, which has an opening in its sidewall that can be closed and opened by the wall of said container. The edge of the container is together with the upper edge of the opening in the lid providing a cutting mechanism that cuts off the end packaging unit from a chain of packaging units stored inside the container. A conveyor arm attached to the lid lifts out the chains end unit to the opening in the lid, where an ejector ejects the end unit through the opening before being cut. A tooth at the container edge enters a slit in the waist between the packaging units. |
