PURPOSE: A system for lending a book by visiting each member and method thereof are provided to lend high-quality books and manage reading habit of members by reducing an unnecessary distributing stage, thereby reducing costs and returning the reduced cost to branch stores. CONSTITUTION: A user boots a computer and connects to an Internet server through an Internet network(S10). If the user joins to an on-line membership directly or through a branch store, an Internet server stores information of the registered member in a member DB(S20). The Internet server searches books adapted to the member in accordance with inputted member information, and prepares a book list in order for the member and the branch store to read books on the book list(S30). The Internet server checks members on the same book level in a DB(S40). The Internet server binds the members, prepares a distribution plan as a rotation method, and instructs a distribution to a branch store adjacent to houses of the corresponding members(S50). If a member is in a house, new book is distributed and a book to be delivered to the next house is taken away(S60). If the member is not in the house, other book is lent to the other member in the next house(S70). |
