摘要 PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device aligned with an electric field shield film is provided to improve the screen quality by forming electric field shield film to intersections of wires or pixel electrodes to restrain or shield parasitic electric fields caused by gate lines. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device aligned with an electric field shield film includes a transparent insulating substrate aligned with gate lines(23) and data lines(35) intersecting the gate lines. Pixel electrodes are aligned to spaces formed by the intersection between the gate and data lines and overlap the gate lines. An electric field shield film(49) is interposed between the gate lines and common electrodes(33) without disturbing the aperture rate to restrain or shield the parasitic electric fields. The electric field shield film is formed with a transparent insulating material with a height equal to the cell gap, and has a part tapered by an angle of 20°-90° in a sectional shape of triangle or trapezoid.
