PURPOSE: A home network system capable of interlocking the Internet is provided to extend an HA(Home Automation) device to an Internet environment. CONSTITUTION: A sensor(110) senses a security state in a house. A controller(120) controls operations of various kinds of electric home appliances in the house. An HA device(130) transmits security state information and device operation information of the sensor(110), the controller(120), and in the house as data, a voice and video signal to a security guard system(200) through an intranet. An information terminal(140) receives the data, the voice and video signal being transmitted from the HA device(130) to the security guard system(200), transmits the data and the voice and video signal to an exterior through an Internet network(300), or supplies data and a voice and video signal from an exterior through the Internet network(300) to the HA device(130). The information terminal(140) is connected to a signal input/output port of the HA device(130) in parallel for transmitting data, a voice and video signal from the HA device(130) to the security guard system(200) through an intranet. The information terminal(140) receives a data signal, a voice signal, and a video signal from the HA device(130) through the signal input/output port and transmits the signals to an external device through the Internet network(300).
