PURPOSE: A window type air conditioner is provided to reduce power consumption by improving heat radiating efficiency of refrigerant. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes a case(52) having an inside divided into an indoor part and an outdoor part by an air guide(62) guiding air flow in the case, and having a first outdoor inlet(h1), a second outdoor inlet(h2), a first outdoor outlet and a second outdoor outlet(h4) formed on the outdoor part thereof; a turbo fan(56) forcibly blowing indoor air into the indoor part of the case; a sirocco fan(58) forcibly blowing outdoor air into the outdoor part of the case; a heat exchanger allowing air forcibly introduced by the turbo fan and the sirocco fan to exchange heat; and a re-suction preventing unit formed on the outdoor part of the case to prevent air discharged through the outdoor outlets from flowing in again through the outdoor inlets. The re-suction preventing unit comprises a discharge louver protruding from a side of the second outdoor outlet in a direction opposite to the second outdoor inlet. The discharge louver isolates the second outdoor inlet from the second outdoor outlet so that air discharged through the second outdoor outlet is guided by the discharge louver and flows to the outdoor side. |
