PURPOSE: A multiplexing and demultiplexing method of a mobile communication system is provided to protect an interrupt having a low priority when burst interrupts overlap with each other in a multiple-event interrupt source state, thereby transmitting traffic or signals without loss. CONSTITUTION: A system clears each count and buffer pointer counter variables, and interconnects interrupts, then initializes an SCC2, 3, and 4 for HDLC(S101,S103,S105). The system initializes each buffer pointer of the SCC2, 3, and 4, enables each receiving and transmitting state of the SCC2, 3, and 4, and sets a loopback(S107,S109). The system decides whether an HDLC frame is received(S111,S113). If so, the system decides whether error data exists(S115). If not, and if an SCC2Rx is bigger than an SCC4Tx, the system clears an SCC2Rx interrupt(S117,S119).
