PURPOSE: A method for notifying the alarm of a home automation device is provided to rapidly inform other homes of the related information when an alarm is generated at a specific home due to an emergency status such as a fire, a gas leakage or the like. CONSTITUTION: A method for notifying the alarm of a home automation device includes the steps of: (S11) generating an abnormal sensing signal when an emergency status is occurred at a specific home; (S12) generating an alarm signal by receiving the abnormal sensing signal; (S13) transmitting the alarm message packet to the home gate away; (S14) sending the transmitted alarm message packet to the control server through the communication network; (S15) extracting the Internet protocol(IP) address after receiving the alarm message packet transmitted from the gate way; (S17) broadcasting to the other home gate ways with carrying the extracted alarm type data on the user datagram protocol(UDP); (S18) transferring the alarm type and the home information data to each of the home information terminals; and (S19) receiving the transferred alarm type and the home information data and informing the received alarm type and the home information data to the resident in each of the homes.
