PURPOSE: A cam type press apparatus is provided, in which non-noise contact slide part is formed at one side of cam slider and cam driver for operating the cam slider to relieve contact noise and impact force between the cam slider and cam driver. CONSTITUTION: In a cam type press apparatus comprising a forming cam(13) which presses and fixes work panel(1) between upper mold(2) and lower mold die(5), and which is vertically slidingly operated correspondingly in one side direction of upper mold pad(7) on the upper mold(2) and fixed steel(9) on the lower mold die to bend one side of the work panel so that the work panel is bent; a driving slider(11) integrated with the forming cam and equipped with return means; a cam slider(23) horizontally slid on the lower mold die to operate the driving slider(11); and a cam driver(41) installed at the lower part of an upper mold die(3) to operate the cam slider through driving slide part(47), the cam type press apparatus comprises a non-noise contact slide part(51) installed between the cam driver and cam slider so that the cam driver drives the cam slider in advance with being contacted in an angle (&thgr;2) less than contact angle (&thgr;1) of respective driving wearplates before driving the driving slide part to one side consisting the respective driving wearplates, wherein the driving slide part comprises first driving wearplate(43) and second driving wearplate(45), and wherein the non-noise contact slide part(51) comprises first non-noise wearplate(53) and second non-noise wearplate(55).
