PURPOSE: An accumulator of a rotary compressor is provided to prevent generation of abnormal noise by supporting a screen against pressure of refrigerant introduced through an inlet tube. CONSTITUTION: An accumulator(100) includes a main body(12) having a storage space for liquid refrigerant and gaseous refrigerant formed therein; an inlet tube(13) installed on an upper part of the main body to allow refrigerant to introduce; an outlet tube(11) protruding upward from a lower part of the main body, and having an outlet(110) formed on a protruding end thereof to allow gaseous refrigerant to discharge to a compressor; and a screen(14) installed on an upper side of the outlet tube to separate liquid refrigerant and gaseous refrigerant. A screen holder(120) is mounted on the outlet of the outlet tube to support the screen. The screen holder is detachably mounted on the outlet or fixed to the outlet by welding not to interfere with flow of gaseous refrigerant discharging through the outlet tube.
