<p>PURPOSE: A noise removal image compression system and a noise removing method are provided to filter a video signal and compress or decompress the filtered video signal using an image compression processor so as to reduce a period of time required for compression or decompression of the video signal and obtain a high-quality image. CONSTITUTION: A noise removal image compression system includes a camera(30), a filter(50), an image compression processor(100), and a display(200). The camera photographs an image to provide the image as a digital video signal. The filter filters the digital video signal generated by the camera using a filter mask. The image compression processor compresses/decompresses the filtered video signal. The display displays the video signal decompressed by the image compression processor.</p> |
