AUTOMATIC FOCUSING SYSTEM OF LASER TRANSMISSION DEVICE AND AUTOMATIC FOCUSING METHOD

PURPOSE: An automatic focusing system of a laser transmission device and an automatic focusing method are provided to automatically sense received lightness when attenuation factors of a laser beam are generated, and to focus on beam strength, thereby preventing communication interruption. CONSTITUTION: A lightness measurer(33) measures lightness received from an ADP module(32) for receiving a laser beam. An operation processor(34) compares the measured lightness with a preset reference value, and calculates distance between a light transmitting lens(37) and a light emitting LD module(36) to be focused on if the lightness is less than the reference value. A mobile commanding unit(35) commands the light transmitting lens(37) or the light emitting LD module(36) to move according to a calculated distance value. The light transmitting lens(37) or the light emitting LD module(36) has a mobile unit moving as much as the calculated distance value.
