PROJECTION LENS SYSTEM OF PROJECTION TV

PURPOSE: A projection lens system of a projection TV is provided to appropriately select optical characteristics of a lens used for a projection TV to improve resolution of the projection TV. CONSTITUTION: A projection lens system of a projection TV includes the first, second, third and fourth lenses. The lens system has power(P0) and the first lens(1) is an aspherical lens having relatively weak power. The second lens(2) is a convex lens having considerably strong power that occupies the most of the overall power of the system. The third lens(3) is an aspherical lens having relatively weak power. The fourth lens(4) is an aspherical lens having very weak power.
