The painting system for e.g. zebra crossings comprises a mixer of methacrylate resin branched by organic peroxides, with non-slip fillers and titanium dioxide. A flexible perforated mould located on the edge (2) has its holes filled with the mixture, and is finally removed to leave the moulded circular ridges (3) which can then be painted for finishing.
