PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rear projector with which projection to a normal position is performed without adjusting the position of an image projected onto a screen when being installed in a housing by making an optical unit and a reflection mirror a unit and relatively aligning them in the unit before installing it in the housing. SOLUTION: The reflection mirror and a video output means are unitized, so that deviation in the position of the image due to variation in the relative positional relation of upper and lower housings caused by the separating structure of the housing in an up-and-down direction or the like is eliminated.
