PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital television receiver capable of efficiently using a storage medium with a limited capacity by properly deleting or updating CM data stored in the storage medium depending on the advertisement effect of the data. SOLUTION: The digital television receiver capable of storing and reproducing CM data is characterized in that the digital television receiver is provided with: a CM data storing and reproducing means for storing and reproducing the CM data; a CM data deletion condition information storage means for storing deletion condition information of the CM data; and a deletion decision means for deciding whether or not the CM data can be deleted, and the deletion decision means decides that the CM data can be deleted when the deletion condition information of the CM data is satisfied.
