PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a robust transmission control device which can satisfy predetermined accuracy required for shift operation and can correspond to characteristic changes of TM, ACT, etc. SOLUTION: This transmission control device is provided with a PID control means for PID control in response to a deviation between a target shift stroke r(t) and a shift stroke y(t), a standard model control means which responds to a deviation between an ideal response r<SB>std</SB>(t) acquired based on the target shift stroke r(t) and the shift stroke y(t) to approach an ideal response, a stabilization control means for constructing a stable control target model with a feedback loop in response to the shift operation of a shift-select operation mechanism, and a disturbance observer mechanism NOB.
