PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having high image quality, excellent in preservability, uniformity of finish and processing stability and ensuring little unevenness in yellow coloring density. SOLUTION: In the silver halide color photographic sensitive material, silver halide grains in all silver halide emulsions comprised in a blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer have a halogen composition having≥97 mol% silver chloride content and≤0.62μm average equivalent spherical diameter and the emulsion layer contains at least one of the yellow dye forming couplers represented by formula (YI) wherein Q is a group of nonmetallic atoms forming a 5- to 7-membered ring together with -N=C-N(R1)-; R1 is a substituent; R2 is a substituent; m is an integer of 0-5; and X is H or a group which can be released by a coupling reaction with the oxidized body of a developing agent.
