PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display system in which adjustment of picture quality such as luminance or the like and confirmation/inspection of the operation of a display device are remotely conducted without going to the location where the device is installed, a degree of freedom is provided for the installation of the device and the use of the device is made suitable at a hot spot or the like. SOLUTION: The image information display system is provided with an image transmitting device 1 which generates first image information S3 from stored image data and transmits the information, a display processor 2 which receives the information S3, processes the information, generates second image information S6 including video information and synchronization information and outputs the information S6 and a display device 3 which receives the information S6 and displays an image in accordance with the video and synchronization information included in the received information S6. The processor 2 and the device 3 are constituted so that control information S8 is mutually received and transmitted between the processor 2 and the device 3. By using the information S8, at least picture quality such as luminance of the image being displayed on the device 1 or the like is remotely controlled by the processor 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
