PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer system which can restore data even in case that the data written in a transceiver is lost. SOLUTION: The microcomputer system is composed of the above transceiver 15 which is used in the Ethernet and a microcomputer 16 which backs up the data within the transceiver 15. The transceiver 15 outputs an interrupt request to the microcomputer 16, when it receives the data write request to a primary storage medium 23 from a host device. The microcomputer 16 reads out the data written in the primary storage medium 23 and writes it in a secondary storage medium 29 when it receives the interrupt request. Accordingly, even in case that the data written in the primary storage medium 23 is lost by instantaneous power failure, etc., it becomes possible to restore the data in the primary storage medium 23.
