摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten a vibration control device and to improve a vibration control effect. SOLUTION: A lower arm 1 is formed of an arm part 2 and glasses-shaped parts 3, 4 formed at both ends of the arm part 2, and a gel form viscous material 6 is filled in a space 5 formed inside the arm part 2. Here, a filling factor is less than 100%. By mounting the glasses-shaped parts 3, 4 to a wheel side as a vibration source and a car body side as a vibration receiver, the gel form viscous material 6 flows inside the arm part 2 when the lower arm 1 receives the vibration, and as a result, large internal energy loss is generated. The internal energy loss is generated by internal friction when the gel form viscous member 6 flows in an unfixed state, and the ratio of energy internally stored in accompany with the change of the shape is small in comparison with a metallic elastic body and rubber, so that vibration absorbing efficiency can be increased. Further the gel form viscous material 6 has a specific gravity smaller than those of rubber and metal, so the vibration control device can be lightened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
