PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new variable lever tumbler lock capable of easily and surely varying key differences. SOLUTION: A lever tumbler 11 is constituted by combining approximately C-shaped tumblers A11A and B11B which overlap each other; an engaging part 16, which is to be engaged with a key groove of a duplicate key, is formed in the tumbler A and urged in the direction of interference with the duplicate key; an unlocking notch 9 is formed in the tumbler B; an engaging protrusion 18 is formed at a free end of the tumbler A; a plurality of engaging recesses 19 are formed on an arc, in which a supporting shaft 12 serves as a center, in the tumbler B; and the key differences are obtained by varying a combination of engagement of the engaging protrusion 18 with the engaging recesses 19. So as to vary the key differences, when only the tumbler B is moved by pushing the supporting shaft 12 downward, a locking pin 33 is protrusively provided in a partition plate 3 so as to prevent the tumbler A from being moved while following the tumbler B.
