PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of yielding a stable high-quality image with little durability fluctuation by simple and inexpensive constitution, and to provide a cartridge, a process control system and a storage medium.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 forming an image on a recording medium P by using the cartridge B which can be attached to/detached from an apparatus main body A is constituted so that the cartridge B equipped with a storage means 20 for storing threshold information peculiar to the cartridge B for changing a processing condition for forming the image is detachably attached to the apparatus 100, and the usage of the cartridge B is detected and the processing condition for forming the image is changed based on the threshold information and the usage information of the cartridge B.
