<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To project the details of the nature of a disease in the anterior segment of the eye with a video camera by adding an orange color filter to an adapter lens thereby suppressing (cutting) cobalt blue light and allowing the transmission of green fluorescence. <P>SOLUTION: The video adapter lens comprises the orange filter, transparent glass and a knob (lever) for inserting/taking both into and out of the optical system of the adapter lens. In viewing with fluorescein fluorescence, a user turns the knob disposed on the outer side of a main body tube to swing the orange filter in the body tube onto the optical path. In ordinary viewing exclusive of the fluorescent viewing, the user swings out the same and swings in the transparent glass. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
