<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system in which all participants can easily write information in accordance with the display of pages and information written by one participant is immediately displayed to all the participants. <P>SOLUTION: The display system is provided with a means for updating film data by write, a means for transmitting film updating data, a means for updating the film data based upon the received updating data and a means for displaying an original image and a film data image while overlapping them. When the display system is combined with an electronic filing system, an original is displayed by utilizing a viewer function of the electronic filing system to write a comment or a graphic on a transparent film overlapped with the original image.
