<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a congestion avoidance system for private PHS system and a private PHS base station capable of building up an efficient wired LAN network against congestion. <P>SOLUTION: The private PHS base station capable of being connected to a plurality of networks connected via a relay node has a LAN monitor section 6 capable of detecting congestion occurred in the relay node or the like. A MAC address storage section 5 previously stores a MAC address of other private PHS base station and an information device (PC or the like) connected to the same network. A main control section 4 multicasts congestion information to the private PHS base station or the information device in the same network stored in the MAC address storage section 5 when the LAN monitor section 6 detects a congestion state, and when the congestion state monitor section detects restoration of congestion, the main control section 4 multicasts congestion restoration information to the private PHS base station or the information equipment in the same network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
