<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small iris imaging device that can pick up an image of an iris without an influence of spectacles or the like. <P>SOLUTION: On the right and left of an imaging optical axis connecting an iris of a subject and an imaging element 10, light sources L1 and L2 for irradiating the iris with illuminating light are arranged, and light sources L3 and L4 for irradiating illuminating light obliquely from above the subject are arranged. A lighting switching part 20 selects and lights two of the light sources L1 to L4 in given order, and image data on the iris picked up by the imaging element 10 are sequentially stored in an image storage part 40. From among the stored image data, image data uninfluenced by spectacle reflection are selected. The distance between the light sources L1 and L2 can be shorter to miniaturize the device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
