<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leaked water from infiltrating into a bearing structure associated with the deterioration of a seal material by an extremely simple structure in an impeller rotating water pump bearing of a water pump installed in an automobile or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This water pump bearing seal device is composed of the seal material A having a plurality of lips, a shaft B for contacting with the plurality of lips, an outer ring 12 for surrounding the shaft B with rolling bodies 13, 13, etc., and a holder 16 installed between the shaft B and the outer ring 12, forming a circumferential projection strip 16c in an end place near the seal material A on the impeller 21 installing side, and holding the rolling bodies 13, 13, etc., at equal intervals.
