<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment confirmation system and portable collation device capable of performing a precise collation confirmation, performing the collation confirming work even in off-line or in emergency, and accumulating sufficient information for performing the management of the whole treatment after collation confirmation. <P>SOLUTION: In this treatment confirmation system, patient specification information capable of specifying a patient is stored in a storage medium installed to the patient's body, and collation information capable of being directly collated with the patient specification information and treatment information related to the treatment using an article are attached to the article used for the treatment to the patient in a bar code form. When the treatment to the patient is performed, the patient specification information in the storage medium and the collation information in the article are read and mutually collated by the portable collation device, and the treatment information is also read by the portable collation device to store the treatment information in association with the collation result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
