SERVICE CONTROL NETWORK AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service control network for providing individual service to each user or each terminal especially in an IPv6 network out of IP networks including mobile environments and a method for controlling the service control network.

SOLUTION: In the service control network including a service control device for controlling layer 7 service to a user terminal, a certification server device specifies a layer 7 profile of the user terminal and a slave layer 3 profile related to the layer 7 profile when the certification of the user terminal succeeds. An edge device transfers a packet received from the user terminal after the success of certification and suited to the slave layer 3 profile to the service control device. The service control device controls the execution of layer 7 service of the packet received from the edge device and suited to the layer 7 profile.
