PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost secondary battery having a superior safety. SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery 20 is provided with an electrode set 2, in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are disposed via a separator, stored in a metal battery container 5 and an electrode post having a flange 4b and an electrode post part 4a to be an outer terminal. The flange 4b is connected to an output lead piece 3 led from the negative electrode and formed with a plurality of through-holes 4e. A stainless steel-made positioning pin 5b is projected from the inner bottom surface of a battery lid 5a toward the electrode set 2, an insulating tube 6a is fitted to the positioning pin 5b, and the tip part of the insulating tube 6a is fitted to, at least, one of the through-holes 4e. The tip part of the positioning pin 5b is positioned in a part prevented from being inserted into the through-hole 4e. Even if the insulating tube 6a is melt, the positioning pin 5b is prevented from contacting with the output lead piece 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
