PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating implement for preventing fraudulent unlocking, which makes it impossible for a knob operating member to be so easily moved, even if a thief operates the knob operating member from without by utilizing a gap in a door, a wire member, etc. SOLUTION: This operating implement comprises: a case body 1 having a fitting recess which communicates with a guide window; a lid body which is fixed to the backside of the case body 1 and has a vertical long hole; the knob operating member which supports a drive shaft passing through the vertical long hole and is internally mounted between the case body 1 and the lid body so as to be slid in the fitting recess, when a knob part protruding from the guide window is operated; an unlocking operation piece which is integrally provided in the knob operating member via a supporting plate and whose back end is journaled so that a tip part for a knob can be protruded from the knob part; and a lock piece which is journaled on the knob operating member so that a protrusion-shaped abutting part can abut on a back end of the unlocking operation piece, in an initial position of the knob operating member, and the other protrusion-shaped engaging part of which is locked to a locking part of the lid body, serving as a fixing part.
