<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image processing system for high speed image processing needing a small capacity of memory in reproducing and outputting a color desired by a user for each object image. <P>SOLUTION: The color image processing system includes: a means (monitor of a PC 20) for displaying color image data in colors as an object image; a means (control section 33) for adjusting a color of the displayed object image into a color desired by a user; a means (color printer 50) for trial-printing the object image after the color adjustment; a means (object analysis section 35) whereby a user compares a test print result with a color display state to analyze a color characteristic after the color adjustment; a means (extended LUT (look-up table) forming section 34) for correcting a color characteristic table prepared in advance depending on the result of analysis by the means (the section 35) and generating a color characteristic table after the correction; and a means (data transmission section 36) for downloading the after-correction color characteristic table generated by the means (the section 34) to a print means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
