PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the heat source equipment and its installation method capable of preventing the breakdown of a reservoir, and efficiently utilizing natural energy. SOLUTION: A pile-shaped heat exchanger 4 wherein a heat medium is circulated to collect the underground heat, and a rod-shaped grout pipe 5 for injecting the grout liquid G are vertically buried in the bank 2 of the reservoir 1 in adjacent to each other, the grout liquid G including a substance of high heat conductivity is injected from the grout pipe 5 according to the necessity, to be supplied to the circumference of the heat exchanger 4 and the grout pipe 5 and in the soil and hardened to form a hardened layer H, whereby the bank 2 is solidified, and the underground heat collected by the heat exchanger 4 can be used as the heat source for snow melting, cooling and heating.
