PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dew condensation preventing device for cargo capable of preventing the cargo in a cargo storehouse from being damaged by rusting with simple configuration of the device. SOLUTION: This dew condensation preventing device 11 for cargo is composed of a ventilation room 13, a bow duct 15 communicating the cargo storehouse and the ventilation room 13, a stern duct 17 communicatable with the cargo storehouse 3, the outside air and an upper part of the cargo storehouse 3, a hatch duct 19 communicating the ventilation room 13 and the cargo storehouse 3, a first fan 21 reversibly rotatable in the bow duct 15, a second fan 23 reversibly rotatable in the stern duct 17, a heater 25 mounted at a communication side of the bow duct 15, a dehumidifier 27 for dehumidifying the air and sending the air to the bow duct 15, sensors 29<SB>1</SB>, 29<SB>2</SB>, for measuring temperatures in the cargo storehouse and a surface of the cargo, a sensor 31 for measuring the humidity in the cargo storehouse, and an operation control device 33 for operating a heater 25 and the dehumidifier 27 to make detection signals detected by the sensors 29<SB>1</SB>, 29<SB>2</SB>, 31 to be agreed with reference values.
