PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projected corner constructing method which uses a projected corner column which is easy to produce, low in cost, and excellent in outer design, and to provide a projected corner structure. SOLUTION: The projected corner constructing method is provided for constructing the projected corner structure 4 by arranging the projected corner column 1 and outer wall plates 5 at a projected corner. The projected corner column 1 has a projected corner main body 2 and mounting plates 3. The projected corner main body 2 has a projected corner design surface 21, a projected corner rear surface 22, and projected corner side end faces. Each mounting plate 3 has a fixed plate portion and a leg plate portion 32. In a first step of the method, an outer wall sill drain board 65 and a projected corner sill drain board 61 are arranged on a structural skeleton 41. In a second step, a waterproof paper 46 is stuck to the structural skeleton 41 and furring strips 42 are fixed to the waterproof paper 46. In a third step, the projected corner column 1 is fixed to the furring strips 42. In a fourth step, the outer wall plates 5 are fixed to the furring strips 42.
