PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical washing method for a ballast surface or the like by a washing car in which ballast in a track surface, on which a car for a track travels, and a side wall surface and a ceiling surface or the like in the tunnel of a road, a subway or the like are washed safely and efficiently under a pollution-free state by a pressure-water jet or the like at the same time. SOLUTION: The ballast surface is washed and cleaned with a shot-blast effect by injecting a high-pressure water jet, in which a water-soluble detergent or a remover is mixed, slewing or reciprocating and rotating at least one blast nozzle downwards projected from a chassis for the washing car by a radius in a fixed size.
