PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten the burden of operation on a user by unitedly operating individual products having similar functions. SOLUTION: A user 102 calls a job net managing function 105 through a GUI/CLI 103 and defines a job net 106. A job net execution control function 109 interprets the definition of the job net 106 and executes defined jobs one after another. The respective defined jobs do not call real commands for storage management directly, but call switchers 110 to 114 where normalized interfaces are defined. The respective switchers refer to an environment variable 101 and select proper adapters 115, 116, etc., and make them call real commands 117, 118, etc., of corresponding products.
