PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a tapping noise due to impact or vibration in a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with a liquid crystal display panel, a backlight disposed in the rear of the liquid crystal display panel, a lower frame disposed in the rear of the backlight and an upper frame disposed on the viewer side of the liquid crystal display panel and coupled to the lower frame. The backlight is constituted of a light guide plate, a linear light source disposed at a side wall of at least one side of the light guide plate and a reflection plate irradiating the side wall surface side with light from the light source. At least the reflection plate and the lower frame are constituted of a conductive material and a film having elasticity and making continuity between the reflection plate and the lower frame is disposed therebetween.
