<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a system which can offer a service without adding a special function to a receiving terminal which does not support multicast communication. <P>SOLUTION: A multicast communication device 10 receives the data sent in multicast from a receiving terminal which does not support the multicast communication requesting reception of data sent in multicast, and transfers it to each receiving terminal. The receiving terminal issues a group participation request to a group address used for multicast distribution according to an access contents for obtaining information from a data transmission terminal. The multicast communication device 10 keeps information including address information on the transmission terminal, and a destination address of the transmission data. If there is found a service which the transmission terminal intends to make an access to a sending terminal, among the held service information, the multicast communication device 10 transfers respective data received in multicast to the receiving terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
