PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability while making a temperature detection precision high. SOLUTION: A heating cooker consists of an electromagnetic induction coil 11, an insulation board 13 with which a heated object 12 and the above electromagnetic induction coil 11 are insulated, a metal plate 14 provided between the above electromagnetic induction coil 11 and the insulation board 13, a temperature detection means 15 that detects temperature of the above metal plate 14, and a temperature-control section 16 by which the above electromagnetic induction coil 11 is controlled by an output signal of the above temperature detection means 15. Since an adverse effect of the insulation board 13 can be removed by detecting the temperature of the metal plate 14, and temperature detection of the heated object 12 can early be attained, more accurate temperature detection is available.
