<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL driving circuit and an organic EL display device in which luminance adjustment of an organic EL panel is easily made and the occupancy area of the driving circuit is made small. <P>SOLUTION: An input side drive current is controlled by a switch circuit connected in series with at least one of a plurality of input side transistors connected in parallel to form a current mirror connection. By turning one of the switch circuits from ON to OFF, a constant current flowing through the input side transistors is not distributed to the input side transistors in which switch circuits are turned OFF. Thus, a large current flows in the current mirror connected remaining input transistors and as a result, a large D/A converted current is generated for current mirror connected output side transistors. Therefore, the value of display data is correspondingly reduced and the number of bit positions of the D/A converter circuit is reduced by one or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
