PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a destination guide method and a device guiding a person to be guided to the destination without letting the person possess a specific appliance and a medium in an open space. SOLUTION: A plurality of panels 2 having detection parts 21 and light emission parts 22 are disposed on a floor surface of an object area. A route calculation part 12 of a data processing part calculates the route to the destination based on the information on the destination and disposition information. A control part 14 of the data processing part 1 lights the light emission part 22 of the panel 2 on the route ahead of the panel 2 where the person to be guided is positioned. When the detection part 21 detects the person coming to the position of the lighted panel 2, the control part lights the light emission part 22 of the panel 2 on the route ahead of the lighted panel 2.
