PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device that can have a degree of freedom in selection of a valve member and designing of the valve device. SOLUTION: A pressure damper 15 comprises an ink chamber 34 and a small hole 44 that form an ink passage. A support member 53 made of a plate spring comprises a permanent magnet 55 at the tip and is adhered to a film material 51. The valve member 57 is fixed at the tip of the support member 53. An electromagnet 60 is connected with a magnetic body 64. When the electromagnet 60 is energized, the tip 65 of the magnetic body 64 and the permanent magnet 55 have the same pole and repulse each other. As a result, the permanent magnet 55 is pushed out downward and the valve member 57 abuts against the small hole 44, and the ink passage is closed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
